Definitely not my favorite store, Food City is expensive aynways. Also, they’re horrible when it comes to cash registers. They seem to wait till the store is full to start shutting down registers. Now, I’m not on here ranting and screaming, this is something that they legitimately need to work. Most of the time the cashiers are nice, but 1 or 2 of the managers act like they hate their job and the world. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good place to come if you forgot something for Christmas Dinner or something. Especially if you hate going to Walmart...
Food City is great for things you would'nt expect them to carry in their store
I like this food city better than the other one down town. There are usually more registers open. They are a bit more friendly at this location. I do however like the grocery store Price for less better than the food citys located here in Newport. The price are a lot cheaper!!! I have found quit a bit of expired food at food city. Both the food citys are newer buildings then Price for less, that is the only difference.
Best meat dept. In town. Wide assortment of food products.
Food City East & West are fabulous Stores. The West has more variety of Organic Foods that I wish the East would carry but Employees at Both Stores treat Customers Politely & Courteously and are Extremely helpful.
