My local hospital was asking thousands of dollars for a CT scan and I got it done there for $ 349.00. I have no met my deductibles for the year therefore cost was an issue.
I recently had a CT scan with and without contrast. I would like to recommend, Robert in registration, Tina insurance, Kay in admitting, Brandie in radiology and also Lisa. Everyone was just amazing and kind.
If I am ever in need of a procedure I would check with Newport Medical Center first.
The medical center is very clean and has a nice little garden area.
Well first off the staff are extremely rude to patient's the entire building inside & out is disgusting & dirty.. & beware they are suing my mother for medical bills & she has no job and barely can survive on what money she does have this is a awful hospital awful people!!!!
This place is much better than it used to be. They staff is more knowledgeable. They are friendlier and more helpful. The last several times I’ve been there whether for me or others, has been a pleasant experience. If you have had problems with this place in the past try checking them out again. I pray Gods will be done in every sircumstance. Merry Christmas.
I was very anxious about having my mother admitted here. As a former employee I remain aware of staffing problems and shotrages. But, having now spent about 36 hours at their sister hospital in Knoxville, I am nothing but pleased. In regard to hospitalists you have a gem in Dr. Smith( do whatever is necessary to keep him. Mariah, RN and Becky, CANS were fabulous. Thanks for the great care.
This is literally the best hospital you could go to. Are you going to have to wait two hours to get ear drops? Why yes you are... Because there are people in front of you who have life threatening reasons they are there. It is the emergency room. Not your regular physician office. If you would rather someone die so you didn't have to wait two hours for ear drops then you need a hug me coat worse than anyone I know. Go to get evaluated. Stop being so self important. Oh and they didnt sit and chit chat with you on the phone? Are you aware you called the emergency room? They may have had to handle saving some lives instead of talking to you on the telephone. That's not their job. They are there to save lives not to be courteous to you. That was the hospital my son was born at. I'd never want him to have been born and lived any where else
