Choosing a place to marry the love of my life was a difficult task, but I couldn't be happier with our decision to go to Christopher Place. The staff was beyond excellent and Debbie, the wedding coordinator, went out of her way to help me surprise my husband with unexpected guests/family that showed up to our wedding which turned out perfect! Pictures of the mountain views on the website do it no justice as seeing the view in person was absolutely breathtaking! Our elopement experience was a complete success and we can't thank them enough...
We stayed three nights had enjoyed one dinner and a picnic lunch which we ate in the bar/library. One of us had steak and three of us enjoyed trout Everyone was very pleased with their dinner and also the picnic lunch that was more than the four of us could eat The staff is attentive and very accommodating. The rooms are lovely. we came all the way from northwest Ohio to enjoy the labor day weekend at the Christopher Place and the was our fifth or sixth stay there. It is one of our favorites.
My husband and I stayed at Christpher place over Thanksgiving, and we had the most wonderful time!! The dinner was superb, chef Valentine outdid herself with the gourmet meal!! Delicious!! Our room was beautifully appointed with lovely furniture and spacious living area!! We felt so at home! We will be back!!
What a fabulous B&B! The location is beautiful inside and out! We had a weekend of hiking planned but, unfortunately, the weekend we traveled decided to rain and freeze the entire time, so we were unable to hike or explore the outside activities. There’s not much to do outside of the local theatre for those that get stuck inside like us, so keep that in mind! The theatre was only $5 a movie, though!
We had a delightful stay at the Christopher Place Resort in August. The accommodations are lovely and the resort sits in a very quiet, beautiful setting. Although we arrived later than expected, the manager waited up to greet us and show us around the place. It's a very relaxed atmosphere yet at the same time quite elegant. Very quiet and comfortable rooms. I know we'll be back. Thanks!
