The dining experience left a lot to be desired. Soup was so salty we couldn't eat it. They were completely out of sushi, and they bring hibachi yum yum sauce to the table in large drink pitchers.
I got the steak and shrimp. It was good. The cook who did our food was very personable and did a good job entertaining us. It was a Tuesday night in Newport, so it wasn't very crowded. We had no waiting time to be seated and they came out and took our order immediately.
The food that we have tried has been amazing. We had enough left over so that each of us had another meal from it. It has as cozy atmosphere.My son would eat there every day if we could. He has diabetes and we didn't know how much he could eat so the waitress looked up approximately how many carbs it had so that he would know how big of a dosage he would need. That was a blessing..Check them out. God bless you all.
When we got to Osaka's there were only two tables with people, and none were hibachi tables. Service was slow and so was the cook. My party sat at a hibachi table. I have been eating Japanese and hibachi grill food for 30+ years and I always sit at the hibachi table. Their hibachi tables were uncleaned. They don't clean them properly in between sittings. All main course we're drowned in teriyaki sauce. If I had wanting teriyaki filet and lobster I would have asked for it. This restaurant is a very cheap wanna be Japanese restaurant. I would never recommend this place to anybody!
Great food great service. Ate here for the first time today and thought it was fantastic. Portions could be a little bigger but not too bad
